This tall fall field in Cade’s Cove, Smoky Mountain National Park, provided great cover for 3 button buck fawns venturing out on their own. Fawns tend to be more careless or care free. They may be the first to trot into a clearing while more cautious and wary adult deer stand back and check things out first.
